Plain rules for what happens if you change your mind, if a project stops part way, or if we fail to deliver. Please read this before you pay.

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for services provided by Inovio Waves Solution Corp., trading as Stein & Day Publishers (“we”, “us”). It forms part of our Terms of Service. If your signed agreement says something different, your agreement applies.
You can cancel at any time before work starts by emailing info@steinandday.com. We will refund everything you have paid in full.
Work has started once the first of these happens: your kickoff call or first interview takes place, your files are sent to a writer, editor, illustrator or designer, or the first deliverable is sent to you.
You can cancel during a project by email. You pay for: (a) every stage you have already approved; (b) the stage in progress, charged as a share of that stage’s price based on the work completed, which we will show you in writing; and (c) any third-party costs already paid on your behalf. We refund everything you have paid above that amount.
If a quoted item has not been started when you cancel or change scope, we remove it from your invoice and refund any amount paid for it.
If we cannot deliver part of the agreed work, we refund everything you paid for the part we did not deliver. If we miss an agreed delivery date by more than 4 weeks for reasons within our control, you may cancel without paying for the stage in progress.
Each quote states the number of revision rounds included. Work that does not match the agreed brief will be corrected at no cost. Please review each delivery within 14 days; after that, the stage is treated as approved. A change of taste after the included revisions is not grounds for a refund, but extra revisions can be quoted.
Stages you have approved; third-party costs already paid (for example ISBNs, printing proofs, retailer or distribution fees, and stock images); advertising spend already used; and rush fees once the rushed work has been scheduled.
Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank may take a few extra days to show the funds.
If you are unhappy with a charge, please contact us first. We reply to refund and cancellation requests within 5 business days and aim to resolve them quickly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may delay the outcome.
Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under the law where you live. This policy is governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, as set out in our Terms of Service.
